Late (1926-2002) UK Psychiatrist Dr Russell BARTON MBBS(Lond.1949). DPM (1954) MRCP (1959) wrote the 56 page INSTITUTIONAL NEUROSIS in 1959 (Third Ed. 1976) started movement of closing Psychiatric hospitals. Dr Barton was Phys.Sup. UK Severalls Hosp, Colchester. Moved to New York State where he was Dir Rochester Psych Center.
